Our Xmas Special Meeting of The Aylesbury Group at MIYA Japanese Grill and Bar
We wrapped up 2025 with our festive The Aylesbury Group (TAG) Christmas gathering at MIYA yesterday, bringing members together for a fantastic lunch and some inspiring moments.
Highlights of the meeting included:
🎄A warm welcome from Charlie Hicks, our chair.
🎄Thank you to our meeting sponsor, Chilterns Neuro Centre, to Stella Kubale for sharing a company update with us, alongside a very special guest Sam Purvis, for sharing her very personal journey of “Reclaiming Independence at the Chilterns Neuro Centre – Sam’s journey from stroke to strength.”
The Chilterns Neuro Centre a local charity based in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, which supports people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s and stroke survivors. They currently work with more than 900 members, building a community in which people affected by neurological conditions can live life to the full. Demand is rising for their services quicker than they have ever seen in they charity’s history – increasing by 16% in the last 12 months. They are only able to support people thanks to generous donations from our community – so many companies and individuals in TAG have supported their work this year. It has truly made a huge difference.
Yesterday was also a chance for members to support this fantastic charity with the Christmas Raffle.
🎄Introductions from new members Chris Peters, owner of B2BPM and Kirsty Duncombe, owner of KD Mortgage Solutions
🎄The annual update from Shaun Brownsmith of Dux Advisory Ltd on the 2025 budget.
🎄Special thanks to Amina Sadiq for her fantastic admin support and to Rosie at MIYA for making the event run smoothly!
🎄The afternoon wrapped up with free networking, the perfect way to close the year!
