The 49th Meeting of The Aylesbury Group (TAG) was held at The Watermead Inn.
Super to see the return of the TAG Annual Banner Event and to have the overview from Steve Bowles on community matters from Buckinghamshire Council. We look forward to hearing more as the various threads of the Council’s plans in the community develop further and how we can assist as a group and individually.
It was very good to hear about TAG members having quite a number of community engagement projects and also developing links with community organisations, such as Chiltern Rangers. TAG’s Paul Bolton has supported three of Buckinghamshire Council‘s local Community Boards with the Virtual Dementia Tour that was assisted by Making Marlow Dementia Friendly (MMDF). The tour has had very good reviews and it is hoped to extend the tour further through the County.
We appreciated the understandably shorter than expected feedback on The Budget but as Shaun Brownsmith confirmed, The Budget was short on content and we all still waited to hear on the detail on many matters to be announced.
We now of course look forward to the TAG Xmas Lunch on 07 December
